Our Story

Lightspace started as a shared frustration — three friends, thousands of open browser tabs, and a trip to Japan that took two months to plan. The tools were either too generic or hiding behind a subscription paywall that never quite paid for itself.
The team's first prototype was a personal AI trip planner running on a laptop in a Kyoto café. Within a week, friends of friends were asking to use it. The pricing rule was set on day one: no subscriptions, just credits — and one credit would always cost the same as a stick of gum.
Two years later, Lightspace has become a full marketplace of AI travel services used by travelers in 80+ countries — with that same pricing rule, still enforced.
